Facebook versus The Search Engines

Recent search engine rankings data indicates that very little has changed when it comes to who’s who, and who is on top. But it looks like things are changing dramatically when it comes to the search engines themselves, especially when Facebook increased searches by 10% during February 2010. Naturally Google, Yahoo and Microsoft still make up the lion sized share of the market, but Facebook demonstrated a continuing growth pattern albeit still a long way from the top. This article indicates some interesting changes in the numbers which might point Internet marketers in a slightly different direction.
